Next time you stay at a Disney World hotel, it might be a bit different than you remember!

We’ve seen updates come to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in the form of Moana-themed rooms, Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the form of The Incredibles-themed rooms, and many other refurbishments across property. Now, plans have been announced to update a popular moderate resort!
Disney has announced that some of the rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort will be getting an update inspired by “fan-favorite characters from under the sea.” Some of the rooms located in the Trinidad area of the resort will be getting this refurbishment, and they will accommodate more guests and feature new furnishings.

Guests of the resort will see and hear construction work happening around Trinidad starting on October 3rd. The new rooms will open in 2023, but no specific date has been announced yet.

We’ll be on the lookout for reservations in these new rooms, as well as a specific opening timeline. We can’t wait to see what they look like and which characters will be featured!
Stay tuned to AllEars for more updates on resort renovations. Changes are coming soon to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and a new building is being added at the Polynesian Village Resort currently, so there’s a lot to check up on.

Why does evety update have to include some kind of link to a Disney movie? If they want movie themed hotel, like Art of Animation, then build it. It’s called Caribbean Beach Resort. Let it be that. We already know about the movies we love, let the resorts be what they are. We are ready there spending loads of cash, no need to put in a more expensive room.
