A lot is going on in Disney World this fall!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom for the first time since 2019, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is going strong, and of course, you’ll still be able to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, too! If you’re looking for a cheap way to fly to Disney World this fall, we may have found the deal for you.

From now until tomorrow, August 9th, at 11:59PM EST, you can get one-way tickets starting at $55 for this fall with Spirit Airlines — with a few caveats. The first is that you must be a member of the airline’s Saver$ Club to qualify for the deals. A membership to the club is $69.95 for 12 months. Members can get access to exclusive fares (like this one) and discounts on checked luggage.

The other caveat is that travel must take place from August 22nd to October 29th, 2022, and will only apply to flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays. Multiple flights starting at $55 are available for flying into Orlando International Airport, so you can use this deal to head to Disney World for cheap, but remember, you’ll have to be a member of Spirit’s Saver$ Club in order to get the discounted rates!

Spirit has been in the news recently after the airline abruptly decided to end its proposed merger with Frontier Airlines, paving the way for JetBlue Airways to put in a bid on the budget airline. Now, it seems like a JetBlue-Spirit merger is imminent.

If you’ll be flying soon, hundreds of flights are still getting canceled or delayed daily and a recent Department of Transportation report indicates that airlines are losing and damaging luggage at a higher rate than this time last year (here’s what you can do if that happens to you).

While air travel is a bit of a mess right now, there’s good news for those who drive to Disney World as Florida gas prices have been trending downward and recently dropped to the lowest that we’ve seen in months.
