NEWS: Florida Gas Prices Drop to Their Lowest in Months

It’s no secret that prices have been increasing on many different things lately.

Even in places like Disney World, we’ve seen some serious price increases. And, getting to Orlando has become more expensive too, due to gas prices and other new services that cost money. But, while we have seen gas prices go up for a while in Florida, they just hit a new low!

Florida gas prices have now reached their lowest price since March of 2022, according to WKMG. AAA says that the average price of gas per gallon is around $3.64 in Florida right now.

That’s $1.25 down from the highest gas prices seen in Florida on June 13th, which was $4.89.

AAA spokesman Mark Jenkins said in a release that “Falling oil prices and drooping gasoline demand has paved the way for the recent pump price plunge.” He went on to say that the downturn should continue this week.

The price per barrel has also reached its lowest price in 6 months — it has dropped below $90 according to AAA.

We’ve seen a ton of changes in gas prices in Florida over the past several months. They were continuing to go up from March through June, then they starting dropping back down again in July.

Driving to Disney

It’s important to pay attention to the current gas prices in Florida if you’re driving to Orlando for vacation or renting a car once you’re there. If you break it down, you might find that taking Ubers could end up being cheaper than renting a car.
