A Disney World hidden gem is coming back this summer!

Hoop Dee Doo Revue

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be returning this summer! Reservations for the musical dining experience will open on May 26th, and the show will kick off on June 23rd, but how much will tickets cost? Here’s what you need to know!

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a prepaid, all-you-can-eat dining and show experience. The menu includes this spot’s famous fried chicken, smoked BBQ pork ribs, a tossed green salad, cowboy beans, cornbread, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and (of course) strawberry shortcake for dessert!

Guests over 21 can also enjoy unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria. Soft drinks are also included for guests dining here.

If you’re heading to Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, they ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the time of your reservation. Doors will open at 4:00PM, 6:15PM, and 8:30PM, and the show will begin 20 minutes after!

You’ll have to pre-pay for your dinner, so keep that in mind when you’re planning your budget! Cancellations may result in charges if you don’t cancel within the appropriate amount of time (that time will be detailed when you make the reservation).

Pioneer Hall

Wondering how to get to Pioneer Hall (which is where the dinner/show is held)? You can use Disney transportation, but be sure to give yourself a lot of time since there isn’t a direct path from your hotel to Fort Wilderness. You’ll likely have to head to a park or other location, to then hop on a bus or boat to get there.

You can also use your own car, park at the entrance of Fort Wilderness (or a satellite lot during the holidays), and then take a bus to Pioneer Hall. Disney recommends you give yourself an extra 30 minutes for this bus transportation from the front of the resort to the event.

You can also hop on a Ferry Boat directly from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Disney says to allow for up to one hour and 30 minutes of travel time for that method.

If you’ve got dietary needs, be sure to let them know ahead of time. Check in can be done through the My Disney Experience app or at the ticket booth. And keep in mind that same-day reservations can be made based on availability.

Disney has also announced that they have made changes to the original show, stating, “Hoop-Dee-Doo will return bright and fresh with a new audio and lighting system and a few updates to its script and scenery, while staying true to the experience guests know and love.” We can’t wait to see the show again and check out the updates.
