There are some Disney World souvenirs that you can count on to almost always be in the parks.
Balloons, Mickey ears, mugs, Spirit Jerseys, and more can typically be found all around Disney World property. Another souvenir that would fall into this category are bubble wands, but that is now changing.
When visiting the parks recently, we’ve noticed that we haven’t seen many bubble wands.
The only ones we HAVE seen are The Little Mermaid wands.
We’ve been checking stores and carts to see if we could find any, and we haven’t had any luck.
We asked a Cast Member and they told us that there is in fact a bubble wand shortage in Disney World right now!
A Cast Member at Creations Shop in EPCOT also confirmed that they were sold out at that location and that there is an overall shortage.
Another Cast Member told us that the only bubble wands in Disney World right now are the Little Mermaid ones. They were only shown to be available in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom at the moment.
During a visit to Magic Kingdom on April 25th, there weren’t many bubble wands available throughout the park but we did spot a cart with The Little Mermaid bubble wands.
There were also two Mickey Mouse bubble wands, but they sold out immediately.
The bubble wand shortage could be due to the ongoing supply chain issues happening around the country. Earlier this year, this caused shortages on Disney souvenirs like the lightsaber carrying cases and the droid boxes in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
