As the situation with COVID-19 continues to change and develop, AllEars will be bringing you the latest relevant news that could affect a theme park visit.
In the middle of a chilly winter season, we can’t help but daydream about warmer weather on a sunny Disney cruise! The Disney Cruise Line recently made headlines as it announced a new Pixar Day at Sea event, and we’re still excitedly awaiting the debut of the new Disney Wish cruise ship!
If you have a cruise planned, or you’re considering a vacation, you should hear this important update!
The Disney Cruise Line announced that guests will have the option to take both PCR and antigen tests after their cruise starting on January 31st, 2022.
According to Disney, Inspire Diagnostics (a third-party testing provider) will offer this optional service for $98.33 per person for PCR testing. The antigen testing will be $41.40 per person.
After disembarking, guests will be tested right at the terminal. Keep in mind that, depending on the type of test, the results can take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours.
Disney also stated that guests are responsible for knowing which type of test their home country/state requires, so it is up to them to determine if/when a COVID-19 test is necessary.
As an alternative, there are multiple locations in Central Florida that are currently offering COVID-19 testing. Depending on the location and availability, the test may be cheaper elsewhere!
We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more updates!
