Recipe: Cook Delicious Colombian Cheese Fritters Inspired by Disney’s ‘Encanto’

One of our favorite hobbies is making Disney recipes at home! Some of our favorites have included Holiday Gingersnaps, Frozen-inspired Hot Cocoa, and the Abominable Snowman’s Lemon Snow Cones.

Now, we’re trying our hands at Colombian buñuelos, also known as cheese fritters, inspired by the new animated film Encanto.

First thing’s first: you need your ingredients!

Here’s a list of what you’ll need to buy at the store if your kitchen isn’t already stocked up:

Then it’s time to begin preparing the cheese fritters!

Once the ingredients are prepared and ready for cooking, heat up oil in your medium pan.

The cheese fritters are made by frying pieces of your dough in the hot oil for two to five minutes.

You’ll want to eat them right away, but be careful — they’ll be a little hot!
