Happy holidays, everyone! ‘Tis the season — and that means one thing: holiday Disney World trips!
If you’re trying to choose a place to stay for your next holiday trip, here’s our ranking of some of the best places to stay in Disney World for the holidays — based on their decor!
6. Coronado Springs & Gran Destino Tower
To start off this list, we’re looking at Coronado Springs and its extension, Gran Destino Tower! Despite being at the bottom of our best-of list, this resort has definitely been bringing the heat when it comes to its holiday decor.
The major highlight of this resort is the decor inside of Gran Destino Tower’s two-level lobby, The resort’s beautiful architecture and glamorous style really lends itself to a festive overlay.

5. BoardWalk Inn
Next up is the BoardWalk Inn! This resort has it all: a beautiful tree, plenty of decorations, and a gingerbread display!
The classic seaside vibe of BoardWalk Inn reminds us of a coastal holiday trip to a different time. Plus, this resort is within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios and the other EPCOT-area Resorts (Beach Club, Yacht Club, and the Swan and Dolphin complex), giving you easy access to plenty of holiday treats!

4. Fort Wilderness
Fort Wilderness, with its rustic charm and fun campsites, made it to the fourth spot on our list! The woodsy, pioneer style of the resort pairs perfectly with Christmas trees, garland, and all the other holiday decor.
The biggest highlight of this resort, however, are the decorations put up by the guests! At Fort Wilderness’s campsites, you’ll see elaborate decorations brought by the guests.

3. Animal Kingdom Lodge
Full disclosure: these next three were all MAJOR contenders for the top spot. Animal Kingdom Lodge, much like Fort Wilderness, has a lot of natural materials that match perfectly with holiday decor!
Plus, that massive lobby leaves plenty of room for a gigantic tree (seriously, it’s one of the biggest trees we’ve ever seen!). This resort’s design is absolutely stunning and it makes for a very unique holiday experience; you can wake up and enjoy a view of giraffes and antelope while sipping hot cocoa!
Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House (Deluxe Resort)
2. Grand Floridian
Next up is a classic holiday destination: the Grand Floridian! The grand, Victorian look of the resort makes us think of an enchanting, royal holiday in a palace.
Of course, how can we not talk about the giant gingerbread house?! Grand Floridian is home to this famous cookie display that houses a sweets shop inside!
Even with a giant gingerbread, Grand Floridian couldn’t beat out the resort that we think is number one!
