Attention Harry Potter Fans! A 20th Anniversary Reunion is Coming to HBO Max SOON!

Brace yourselves, you’re about to feel old — it has officially been twenty years since the first Harry Potter film debuted in the United States. That’s right, two entire decades have passed!

To commemorate this special milestone, the stars of the film franchise will reunite for what Variety is describing as a “retrospective special.”

Filmmaker Chris Columbus will be joined by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and other cast members from across all eight Harry Potter films for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.

According to Variety, the special will “tell an enchanting making-of story through all-new, in-depth interviews and cast conversations.” The special will premiere on HBO Max on January 1st, 2022. Don’t have an HBO Max subscription? The special will also air on WarnerMedia’s TBS and Cartoon Network in the spring of 2022.

Additional cast members set to appear in the special include Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch and Ian Hart.
