Another day, another reopening in Disney World! And, we’ve been counting down the days until Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter welcomed everyone back once again.

While the Riverside section of the resort has opened already, the French Quarter has officially reopened today so guests can visit both sides of Port Orleans!

This morning we took a stroll around the resort to check out the reopening, and we’d like to just say…it’s so wonderful to be back in this lobby again! The theming in here is incredible.

We stopped at some of our favorite spots, starting with Scat Cat’s Club Cafe. We can’t wait to be reunited with the delicious Mickey beignets!

They had both the Mickey beignets and the “boozy” beignets here today! These treats have been gone now for more than a year and a half, so we’re definitely excited to have them back again.

But Scat Cat’s isn’t the only restaurant that reopened today — Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is also back!

Here you can grab a variety of items on the go and then sit in the impressively themed dining area to enjoy your meal.

Even the condiment and drink station is in on the Mardi Gras fun!

And if you’re hoping to do some shopping during your visit, make sure to stop by Jackson Square Gifts & Desires. They had celebratory reopening balloons stationed outside the door!

And inside there’s a variety of merchandise to check out, including some resort-specific options.
