PHOTOS: Mickey Beignets Have FINALLY Returned to Disney World!

As many Disney World Resorts have reopened this past year, we’ve seen some fan-favorite restaurants and eats return as well!

Oh how we miss this lobby!

And, with Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter Resort opening today, a VERY popular snack is officially back!

Now that Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort has reopened, Scat Cat’s Club Cafe is featuring the iconic Mickey Beignets once again! Naturally, we had to get our beignet fix, so we headed to the now open French Quarter.

The Quick Service location has been known to cook up some fun beignet creations (like beignets with Red Tamales candies and beignets with booze infusions), and most importantly, Mickey Beignets are back! The line to order wasn’t terribly long first thing in the morning.

Here at Scat Cat’s Club Cafe you can get Mickey-shaped Beignets with one dipping sauce, with 3 for $6.99 and 6 for $10.99. Dipping sauce choices include salted caramel, strawberry, and chicory chocolate ganache for an additional $1.99 each.

If you’ve never stopped by the resort to give one a try, the Mickey Beignets are a fried dough pocket in the shape of, you guessed it, Mickey Mouse, and then topped with tons of powdered sugar. They’re served hot and FRESH, but we did notice they were more dense and cake-like than they used to be.

We also tried the Baton Rouge Beignets for $10.99, which comes with two square beignets with pipets filled with of your choice of Baileys Irish Cream, RumChata, or Kahlua. You get to pipe in the alcohol and the beignets soak it up!

We also had to get the Mickey-shaped Beignet Sundae for $8.49, and you get Mickey Beignets served with your choice of ice cream and sauce.

Both of Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts are now open, but even if you’re not planning a stay you can still hop on over to the hotel to pick up the returning snack (we recommend taking the peaceful Sassagoula water taxi from Disney Springs when it’s running!).
