Disney World is home to quite a few different lounges, but one of the most unique (and popular) ones to visit is Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Oga’s Cantina can be one of the hardest dining reservations to secure during your visit, but if you do manage to snag a spot you’ll be treated to out-of-this-world drinks and an atmosphere that will make you feel like you stepped into a Star Wars movie yourself. Today we were able to stop by and noticed that the dining room was looking a bit different with a new health and safety measure in place.
Since reopening after the closure for the COVID-19 pandemic, Oga’s Cantina has returned to what appears to be full capacity inside, seating guests at every table (including those with standing rooms only).

And, while the large booths that border the lounge have been open to large parties in the past…

…today we noticed that they were now separated into two seating areas by plexiglass.

This now enables Disney to seat more guests in the lounge throughout the day, as two parties can be seated at one of the large tables.

The booths are the only tables to get plexiglass, however, as the rest of the lounge remains open with tables that have standing room only.

So, if you’re headed into Oga’s Cantina on your next trip and happen to get a booth, keep in mind that you could be seated with another party on the other side of the plexiglass. And, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for any additional health and safety measures in Disney World, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

They were doing this without the divider in July. It was a fun experience both time, the other groups were a blast
