It’s been a long wait for Disney World’s 50th anniversary and there’s been a lot of anticipation over what would be in store for guests. But, the wait is over and now it’s time for us to celebrate across the parks, resorts, and beyond!

We’ve been taking you around with us all day long to see the new and exciting features in Disney World. Now, as the night approaches, it’s time to check out another new feature that is part of the 50th Anniversary — the transformation of each park’s signature icon into a Beacon of Magic. We’ve gotten the chance to see each of these transformations in person and we’re bringing some seriously EPIC photos of the effects to you!
Magic Kingdom
Cinderella Castle may have gotten transformed with banners, decorations, and more, but, it has also received an EARidescent makeover for the anniversary event!

We got the chance to see the full effect recently when we were in the park, ahead of our preview of Disney Enchantment.
The new nighttime look is absolutely GORGEOUS. The purple, blue, and pink projections really pop and make the entire castle just come alive.

That’s some serious EARidescence right there!

EPCOT
Along with the other park icons, Spaceship Earth has gotten a glow-up…literally!

In its new Beacon of Magic look, Spaceship Earth shines like never before thanks to the many lights that have been installed onto the structure. Seriously, Spaceship Earth’s new look is STUNNING.
The lights on Spaceship Earth move and change and cause different effects to be formed.

And what’s really great is that Spaceship Earth’s new nighttime look is actually permanent, so it’ll be sticking around even after the 50th Anniversary is over.

Hollywood Studios
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll find unique 50th Anniversary effects have taken over the Tower of Terror!

Animal Kingdom
And finally, over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Tree of Life looks as beautiful as ever at night as it transforms into a Beacon of Magic.

When it is sporting its Beacon of Magic look, the Tree of Life features beautiful projections and effects that make it look as though there are fireflies floating in the branches and leaves.
