How to AVOID the Long Line at EPCOT’s Newest Store!

Creations Shop, the new flagship store of EPCOT, opened yesterday.

This new shop is replacing Mouse Gear as the main shopping experience of EPCOT, and we loved looking around at the new store’s design. Though we saw long lines yesterday, there’s a shopping feature at Creations Shop that could save you a lot of time!

As we were making our way around Creations Shop yesterday, we noticed there were Scan and Pay signs throughout the store.

Scan and Pay lets you use the My Disney Experience app to shop, which is super convenient! You can scan the QR code on the signs using your smart phone or select the store in the app, which looks like this.

Once you’re in the app, you can then scan the items you want to purchase with your smart phone. You can add items and remove them, so you can change your mind as you shop!

You pay for your purchases in the app and then show the Exit QR Code to Cast Members before exiting the store with your purchases. Once you show your Exit QR Code, Cast Members will give you a bag (or bags) so you don’t have to worry about carrying your purchases in your hands all day.

Scan and Pay allows you to skip the long checkout lines and get it done all on your own. Considering the lines we saw yesterday, it could save you lots of time!
