There are several great ways to watch the fireworks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
You can stake out a spot in front of the castle or hang back on Main Street, U.S.A. You could even try to time it just right so that they go off while you’re on a ride! In the past, dessert parties have been available at the park as well, and they’re coming back soon — including a new option at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort will host a new event called Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks, starting October 2nd, 2021. According to Disney, it will be a “high-energy cocktail party” with “fine food, shimmering sips, and beautiful music.”
When you arrive, you’ll be able to enjoy sushi, small bites, favorite dishes from the California Grill menu, desserts, and even some “odes to our past.” Guests 21 and older can also order drinks from the complimentary bar. At showtime, you’ll have access to a private deck just for guests of Celebration at the Top, with a perfect view of Disney Enchantment.
After the fireworks, guests will head back indoors and be treated to a spread of petit four desserts, cordials, and coffee. The entire experience will cost $129 per person, not including tax and gratuity. The party will take place at California Grill.
It’s important to note that there is a dress code for this event:
- Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.
- Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses, or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.
- Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing, and T-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.
Advance reservations are highly recommended for this experience, and valet parking is included. Guests will check-in at the podium for California Grill on the second floor of the Contemporary Resort.
