REVIEW: Psst. You Can Get a MEGA Serving of Churros in Disney World for Less Than $16

If we have one passion in this life, it’s anything Disney, but more specifically Disney snacks! Over in Animal Kingdom, big changes are coming, and with that, we think we’re going to need some big desserts. Luckily, one of our favorite spots is providing!

If you’ve ever heard us talk about Animal Kingdom food, you’ve probably heard us talking about Eight Spoon Cafe. Previously, Eight Spoon had our favorite macaroni and cheese lunches until they were changed and moved over to Smiling Crocodile.

After we lost our precious mac and cheese, we got two new menu items to replace it! We love a good savory snack, but nothing means more to us than a solid Disney dessert. One of those classic desserts is a Disney churro, but what if you’ve got a big group? No worries, Eight Spoon has you covered with the Family Churros!

These family churros are $15.99, and they come with 21 bite-sized churros with sprinkles, caramel, and chocolate dipping sauces! 

We love that this is a large serving if you’re with a group and that it’s semi-customizable. The churros themselves were fine. Disney World’s churros aren’t typically our favorites, but these mini churros were a little bit better than the classic ones.

For the most part, they were all consistent, with some being a bit chewier and others more crispy. They were coated in sugar, and adding the sauces and sprinkles made it even sweeter. In our opinion, this isn’t a dessert you would want to eat alone unless you need a sugar rush.

The chocolate reminded us more of a chocolate syrup rather than melted chocolate. The caramel leaned heavily on the sugar flavor rather than a rich caramel. This snack is a great deal, considering how much you get with it, but it is pretty messy.

They’re better than a traditional churro in the parks, but if you want a really incredible churro, head over to Nomad Lounge! These can’t be beat in our books.
