We’ve been keeping a close watch on dining locations around Disney World that have yet to reopen. As more and more locations return (like Casey’s Corner!), we want to make sure you’re as up-to-date as possible so you know what foodie spots to hit up on your next vacation.
Today, we were visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios and noticed another snack location has reopened!
Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction has reopened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! If you’re walking through the park, you can’t miss it — it’s located right under Gertie, the dinosaur that calls Echo Lake home!
Gertie is a beloved icon in the park, so we’ve been crossing our fingers that this spot would reopen! We noticed guests lined up at the window ordering ice cream, so you know we jumped in line alongside them for a refreshing cool snack.
We noticed on the sign that the current daily hours for Dinosaur Gertie’s is 11AM to 5PM.
With these hot summer days, it’s great that there are more ice cream spots reopening — just recently, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor reopened at Magic Kingdom! If you’re looking for something to cool you down on a hot summer day at Hollywood Studios, however, head on over to Dinosaur Gertie’s! We’ll keep an eye out for more reopening news from around Disney World.
