If you’ve been waiting on news about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you’re not alone!

Last year, the popular fall event was canceled due to the pandemic. In its place, we got snacks, a few decorations, and themed character cavalcades. And, just as Disney World is about to begin their Halfway to Halloween celebrations, we got an announcement about the future of the event for this year.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will NOT be returning for 2021. However, there WILL still be an after hours Halloween event in Disney World this year!

Disney has announced Disney After Hours BOO BASH will be coming to Magic Kingdom. The event will take place on select nights from August 10th to October 31st, from 9PM to midnight (with some nights 9:30PM to 12:30AM).
The after hours event will grant guests admission to Magic Kingdom as early as 7PM, and they will NOT need a Park Pass reservation ahead of time. The after hours event will allow guests to wear their Halloween costumes! Face masks will be required, and Disney has noted that costume masks will only be able to be worn by children younger than 14.

During the event, guests will be able to get on more than 20 attractions with lower wait times as well!

Tickets for the after hours event will go on sale in June, and an early purchase window will be available to guests at select Disney World hotels. We’ll keep you updated as we get a date for purchasing tickets, so stay tuned to AllEars!

I wonder about the cost since in the past you could enter at 4pm now not until 7pm
What is the difference? No trick or treating?
if you click on the Boo Bash link , it appears they still wont have fireworks or a parade. probably to keep people from grouping tight together. hopefully they will still play the great Halloween Music.
No parade, no fireworks, no rare character meet & greets, shortened hours, increased price since this “lite version” is an after hours event
