A NEW Cookie with a MYSTERIOUS Story Has Arrived in Disney World!

Gideon’s Bakehouse has definitely taken Disney Springs by storm since it had its grand opening at the beginning of the year.

With gigantic cookies, unique cake slices, and stellar coffee, there’s lots to love at Gideon’s Bakehouse. The start of a new month also means a new cookie flavor, and it’s here!

This never-before-seen Gideon’s cookie is called the Orange Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie and it is a vanilla bean cookie dough infused with orange and mixed with dark chocolates and then topped with South Florida pecan pralines and candied orange peel.

The cookie itself comes along with a mysterious story, as shared on Gideon’s Bakehouse’s Instagram. It’s inspired by the tale of Stuart Valencia, a sick boy who ate oranges for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in order to improve his health. Eventually, Stuart and the oranges essentially became one, which is the inspiration for these cookies!
