Last week, a nostalgic favorite returned to Magic Kingdom — mailboxes!

Now, we’re welcoming back another Main Street staple. Last month, the Main Street Fire Station closed, following the last day of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, an interactive game in the park. Excitingly, the fire station has reopened!
Although this building is no longer home to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, it gives guests the opportunity to step inside and see a fire engine on display!

That’s right! Step on up to see this fire engine that fits right in with the nostalgic feeling of Main Street, U.S.A.

Also inside, guests can see patches from around the world!

This fire station is home to “Engine Co. 71.” Do you know what’s special about that? It represents the year that Disney World opened — 1971!

Although the fire station is missing Sorcerers of the Kingdom now, we’re glad to see it up and running again! Check back with us for more Disney news.

I remember it on our honeymoon in 1990. Don’t recall it existing in 2004 or after. 🤔. Hop, they will have some Disney firefighter shirts etc.
