PHOTOS: Another Disney World Monorail Gets A Makeover!

We’re not sure if it’s the hum from the engine or the fact that you don’t get to ride it every day — but we love taking the monorail to get around at Walt Disney World.

And, so do a lot of other people! Many Disney travelers have hopped aboard the highway in the sky and after a while, it shows. The monorails have been getting a bit of an update and recently we got a glimpse of the refurbished red monorail!

And, she is looking prettier than ever on the inside and out! The glow up started with a fresh coat of paint on the outside.

Like other monorails that have been refurbished over the past year, the interior sports a new design on the walls, adding a pop of color to your travels. You’ll never wonder what color monorail your in because it’s written right there on the wall.

The design also has “Walt Disney World Monorail System” written in the print. So fancy!

The new dividers that were installed in all monorails are also in this brighter version of monorail red, splitting the car into four seating sections. When you’re in line to board the monorail, the Cast Member will assign your party a number and you’ll find the frosted divider with your number to sit and enjoy your ride.

At this point in the refurbishment process, so many monorails have gotten a glow-up that you could ride in circles taking in all the new vibrant colors. Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
