This week we decided to poll our readers about their favorite things on Disney+!

We reached out to our followers and discussed all the popular shows and films that are already available, as well as those coming in the future. Our fans had some very shocking opinions (and some that were predictable), as we pitted some of Disney’s best works against each other. Want to see who came out on top? Let’s go!
We started by pitting two of Disney’s live-action remakes against each other, and it gave us one of the more surprising results! The classic love story Lady and the Tramp beat out the action-packed Mulan remake. Perhaps one of the factors that led to Lady and the Tramp‘s victory is that it was available free on Disney+ on launch day, while Mulan was released with a $29.99 fee.

In a less surprising result, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series won the pool with 72% over Diary of a Future President. It’s nothing against Diary of a Future President, but the HSM show has already been renewed for a second season and has a pretty sizable fanbase!

The next poll was especially difficult for us, as we’re big Disney parks fans, but ultimately, The Imagineering Story won out over Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Both shows are spectacular, but 68% of our followers voted that they’d rather learn the history of all the Disney parks instead of go behind-the-scenes at one of them.

Since Disney+ dropped, Pixar has been cranking out the short films! We recently got Pixar Popcorn, but the two original shows were Forky Asks a Question and the Pixar Sparkshorts. Our followers gave the edge to the comical spork, with Forky Asks a Question earning 54% of the votes.

Two of Disney+’s biggest releases last year were Soul and Hamilton, and they battled it out in our poll. Hamilton took home the trophy, but not by too broad a margin — the vote was split 56% and 44%.

And it seems that when it comes to classic Disney characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse are the clear favorites! The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse won 64% of the votes over the new Muppets show, Muppets Now. Maybe things will switch up with the arrival of The Muppet Show on Disney+!

Switching over to what’s coming soon, we asked our followers which Marvel show they’re most excited to watch. Loki was the clear winner, beating The Falcon and the Winter Soldier with 62%.

And when it comes to Star Wars, it seems we have quite a few Obi-Wan Kenobi fans in our crowd! Anticipation for the new series Kenobi is pretty high amongst our readers, winning over The Book of Boba Fett with 72% of the votes.

Last but certainly not least is the biggest showdown of them all, The Mandalorian vs. WandaVision! While WandaVision has been a big success so far, it can’t beat The Mandalorian‘s strong, two-season fanbase. This one ended in a 69% to 31% vote.

That’s all of our Disney+ showdown polls. Were you surprised by the results? Make sure to tell us your favorite thing to watch on Disney+, and stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney media content!
