One of our favorite things to do in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is to check out all the adorable and intriguing animals in the park.
Whether we’re taking a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris or traipsing through the Maharajah Jungle Trek, we’re ready to check out the animals. Earlier this month, we were super excited to see the baby giraffes that now live on the savannas of the Safaris. Now, we’ve got a look at an adorable video of another baby animal in Disney!
On your way to Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll pass through The Oasis which is home to some of the park’s animals. You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of a babirusa AND a baby babirusa!
We’ve noticed the pairing in the past and they are super lovable. The baby was born back in May, and now calls The Oasis, “home.”
Dr. Mark Penning, the Vice President of Disney’s Animal, Science, and Environment Department, shared a fun video of the baby babirusa, Kirana, getting her morning zoomies out today along with her mom Betty!

I saw both mama and baby when I was there in September. That was before I saw any of the videos about them. All very interesting.
