Jambo from Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Although the park is still looking festive with its giant Christmas tree out front and other holiday decorations, we did spot something new right as we walked into the park.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a brand NEW park map! The front features a sweet father and son duo, excited to be in the park.
And the inside provides guests with more tips and tricks on things to do in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Along with the My Disney Experience app’s helpful park information (including Mobile Order and the Walk-Up List), the park guide also provides the rules that guests must follow during their “adventure.”
Since the parks have received a few changes as of late, the attractions and restaurants guide now reflects the modifications that the park has currently.
Relaxation Stations are marked on the map all over Disney’s Animal Kingdom so guests can find the spots they’re able to temporarily take off their face coverings.
However, the park guide has seen a couple of entertainment options and attractions removed from the map during this time as well. Since shows like Finding Nemo the Musical and the Festival of the Lion King aren’t playing, they’re nowhere to be found on the current map.
And, now that it’s an end of an era with Primeval Whirl permanently closing in DinoLand, U.S.A., the icon and information has been removed from the map officially as well.
While the park map could change once again in the New Year to include any additional changes in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we’ll be sure to update you on everything you need to know before you go!

I hope the performers will have access to the vaccine soon so the live shows can resume. These shows are two of my favorite park attractions.
