Holiday or not, Florida’s weather is always up in the air during the summertime. One minute it can be bright and sunny, and the next it can be an absolute downpour. It was reported that an area of low pressure could develop over Florida. This would bring a lot of rain during the July 4th, and the rest of the weekend, according to the National Hurricane Center.

It was said that “the area of low pressure could develop from a remnant frontal boundary near, or along the southeastern U.S. Atlantic and/or Gulf coasts.” Due to this, some gradual tropical or subtropical characteristics could form as it slowly drifts just off the U.S. coastline. Although not crazy high, the chances of development in the next seven days went up on Tuesday night — increasing to 40%.

No need for guests to worry too much, as it was said this is not expected to be a hurricane or tropical storm. The NHC is on the lookout for potential tropical development, but it is expected to bring ONLY rain and some winds to Central Florida.

July 4th!

Between Friday, July 4th, and Sunday, July 6th, it’s reported that there will be a 60-80% coverage of rainfall. Some places may even get rainfall that ranges from 2 to 4 inches, and others could see around 3 to 4 inches.

Fourth of July in Magic Kingdom

Rain is never a fun thing to deal with during your Disney World vacation. Make sure to bring your umbrella, poncho/rain coat, and good shoes for the wet ground. Also, keep an eye on your preferred weather app since things can change so frequently!

Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Hopefully, the rain doesn’t impact the exclusive Magic Kingdom fireworks show for the Fourth of July, Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. They are scheduled to take place on July 3rd and July 4th. Each night, the show will begin at 9:20 PM. It’s a possibility, though, so keep that in mind.
