Cool Kid Summer is here, and we’ve been living for all the new character interactions and activities at Disney World. We’ve danced with Stitch, played games with Goofy, and now we have another experience to add to our list.
This event runs till September 1st, and while it’s focused on the younger ones of the family, guests of all ages have been having a blast during Cool Kid Summer. Come with us to check out their newest addition in Animal Kingdom.
Welcome to Daisy’s Dig!
Daisy is hanging out in Restaurantosaurus, where you can come and hang out. There are coloring sheets and music playing, and it’s a great way to take a break from the heat.
A Dino Institute Intern will come out intermittently to sing, too. The whole party ends around 5:30 every day.
Daisy got pretty into her coloring! These character interactions are fun because they feel more casual, and you don’t have to wait in line. For little ones just starting to meet characters, this might be a more approachable meet-and-greet experience with low pressure.
Right outside DinoLand U.S.A., you can catch another Dino Land Institute Intern singing songs with Rafiki and Timon. It’s a fun and fast show that you can see on your way to your next attraction.
You can also get a limited-time Wilderness Explorer badge near Featured Friends in Flight. If you’ve already completed your Wilderness Explorer book, you’ll need to come back and get your next badge!
