5. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Coming in the last place was Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Turns out, even WITH the Skyliner, this spot isn’t doing it for guests with a 7.4 out of 10 rating. Guests cited issues such as small bathrooms, long walks from the room to the main building, lots of internal bus stops, and even dirty rooms as just some of the reasons it’s lowest on the list.

4. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Next up, we’ve got Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort with a rating of 7.72 out of 10 from our reviewers. One reviewer called it “the least Disney resort around”, and a few mentioned how far of a walk it can be to the dining, main building, and Disney transportation.

3. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside

Smack in the middle of the moderates is Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside with a rating of 8.47 out of 10. Pretty high! Some reviewers cite fantastic stays at this resort; one said, “It felt like a deluxe to us.” Others had problems, most with the number of internal stops and transportation issues.

2. The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

Now, for our top two! In second place, we have The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground with a rating of 8.68 out of 10. This spot comes with the cons of being confusing for first-time Disney goers and being far from the parks. But it has the overwhelming pros of being peaceful and private with a full kitchen!

1. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter

And the best moderate resort according to our readers is Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter with a whopping 8.96 out of 10. Reviewers love this spot for its theming, boat transportation, navigability, and (of course) beignets!
