REVIEW: Disney World’s VIRAL Princess Themed Snack Is WORTH Going Out Of Your Way

People are flocking to Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts over this Disney Princess-themed snack!

Little Mermaid Cookie Pie

We spend a LOT of our time at Disney World picking up on all the changes, big and small. While we’re no stranger to seeing Disney World change its menus fairly often, it’s not every day that you get a pretty snack that ACTUALLY tastes as good as it looks. But this snack is proof that the seaweed, or in this case, the cute snack, is greener on both the land and the sea!

While scouting out the latest menu changes at Disney World recently, our ventures led us to one of the most popular Disney World hotel combinations around. Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts have been drawing in visitors for decades with their nautical, laid-back vibes and incredible restaurants that are known to catch the attention of those just passing by.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

This hotel truly is unforgettable if you’ve ever had a chance to dine or stay in one of its sister sides, but there’s something new that’s swam by for a spell, and we’re not sure how long it will last!

The Market at Ale & Compass

Allow us to introduce you to the Little Mermaid Cookie Pie. This cutie is available at either The Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort or The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, which is where we picked ours up.

Little Mermaid Cookie Pie

It’s made of marshmallow and ganache filling sandwiched between two house-made graham cracker cookies enrobed in blue chocolate with “Under the Sea” chocolate décor. You can grab one for yourself for $6.29!

So pretty

OH.MAH.GAWSH — this is delightful! Isn’t she just beautiful to look at! It was almost so pretty we didn’t want to unwrap it, but ya know, food science!

There’s a mini dinglehopper!

If you love a store-bought Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie, you’re going to be obsessed with this. It had a similar taste and consistency, with a slight twist. The outside is fittingly decorated with fun nautical motifs, such as a purple seashell (similar to Ariel’s outfit) and an orange starfish. Don’t worry, though — both are made of modeling chocolate and edible, while the rest of the cookie pie mimics a sea foam blue clam shell complete with a tiny fork (dinglehopper) at the top!

Inside of the cookie pie

Be prepared to get messy with this one, though. That thin chocolate coating was no match for the sun’s rays, and even inside, just sitting on a table, it couldn’t hold its own once it was room temperature.

Cookie pie halves

While the menu states that the cookies are each a graham cracker cookie, they certainly tasted more moist in consistency, like those oatmeal cream pies, rather than a crumbly graham cracker cookie. That being said, it was really like biting into a cookie s’more! The inside is filled with marshmallow that wants to seep out and sweet chocolate ganache between the large cookie pieces.

So soft

If you’ve really got a sweet tooth, this one is singing out to you with a siren’s call, but if you’re not sure, you could tackle it on your own; we’d recommend splitting it with someone. While it’s stunning to look at and take some fun vacation pictures with, it’s definitely a snack we would go out of our way to pick up again due to both its taste and its reasonable price for the portion size. You could say this Little Mermaid Cookie Pie was a swimming success for a fun, themed Disney World snack!
