We’ve been keeping a close eye on all of the construction going on at the Keister Coaster at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.

We had heard that the slide’s signature icon (what some might consider to be a rather creepy clown) was going away, and this week we finally got a peek at the updated design for the slide! It didn’t feature the clown, but did feature a typo that quickly got corrected. And now, the construction walls are down near the slide and we finally got the chance to see it in person for ourselves!
(Clown Warning) For context, here’s what the Keister Coaster used to look like.

And here is the slide’s NEW design!

The new design features Mickey and his pals sliding down the Keister Coaster (correctly spelled this time) and enjoying a great time out at the pool!

On the right side of the slide, you can see Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy all on the slide and having a great time, with the sun smiling above them.

On the left side of the slide design, you can see Donald getting ready to splash into the pool, Pluto floating along, and Daisy enjoying some relaxation time.

We can’t help but miss our clown friend just a bit, but it’s also fun to see this fresh, new look for the slide. The website for Disney’s BoardWalk Inn notes that the waterslide is expected to be available before the end of 2020, but dates are subject to change. Work in the pool area is also set to continue through the end of this year. During this refurbishment, Luna Park Pool, as well as 2 leisure pools at Disney’s BoardWalk inn, will remain open.
