While we already know the reopening dates of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s All-Star Movies, and Disney’s Beach Club Resorts, we’ve got some news for all you BoardWalk fans out there!

Construction has been happening since the beginning of October on the Luna Park Pool’s famous Clown Slide, making everyone wonder if it would be end of an era for the…well, memorable appearance of the BoardWalk’s slide. While the refurbishment’s end date has continued to be delayed, we finally have an update on what will happen with the Clown Slide!

Imagineer Zach Riddley recently shared an image confirming that the Clown Slide will be replaced with a new Mickey and Minnie themed version. The updated “Keister Coaster” (which is misspelled on the coaster itself) has images of the new Mickey shorts cartoons at the Luna Park Pool as Cast Members continue to work on its refurbishment.

After the post was put up on Instagram, though, it was taken down (most likely due to possible misspelling). Is it weird that we may miss the Clown Slide? Either way, we’re excited to see the unveiling of this full slide!

However, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort hasn’t reopened to guests again just yet. So, we will have to keep you updated on when the resort and its pool welcome guests again soon!
