Disney’s Animal Kingdom is full of fuzzy and not-so-fuzzy creatures!

You can visit tigers, hippos, alligators, and so many more friends on the attractions and animal trails. One of the most popular exhibits is the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. Guests flock to the trail to greet the big, hairy monkeys and watch them play! Follow along the trail and you can check out some animals that are definitely NOT hairy. Upon reopening, the research building containing naked mole-rats and more animals was closed…until today!
Yes, you can now witness the naked mole-rats burrow in their happy homes and dirt trails!

The exhibits can accommodate a limited amount of guests. Physical distancing markers are placed around the animal cages and windows for guests to stand on.

The Research Building is where you can view other hairless animals like tortoises…

…and Boa Constrictors!

To access the building, you can either stand in line for the gorillas or pass the line and head straight to the naked mole-rats.

We recommend at least taking a moment to watch the gorilla family. The baby gorilla is WAY too cute to pass up!

Naked mole-rats, tortoises, and gorillas are just a few animals you can view at Animal Kingdom! Be sure to set aside some time for all the cool creatures you can greet in the theme park!
