If you haven’t already been watching Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Disney+, it’s well worth a watch!

The series takes a behind-the-scenes look at the Disney park, including the animals and the team that takes care of them. And now, the family of Animal Kingdom has grown, with  the arrival of two new babies to the bunch!

Whether we’re on the Kilimanjaro Safari or binging the Disney+ series, the circle of life at Animal Kingdom is endlessly fascinating — and in many cases, cute!

This was made abundantly clear when Disney revealed photos of two newborn animals, an itty-bitty aardvark and another giraffe calf!

The baby aardvark, whose name Karanga translates to “peanut” in Swahili, is basically already a celebrity. She was born to Willie and Peanut, the stars of the “Aardvark Love” episode of the Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

So not only is she the first aardvark ever born in the park, but her parents are TV stars. Karanga is kind of a big deal!

And speaking of “big,” the newest Masai giraffe calf has arrived as well! She might be only a few days old, but she’s already six feet and 160 pounds!

She’s the second Masai giraffe born this month, so the herd continues to grow! Currently, she’s nursing with her mom, Willow, before venturing off onto the savanna in a few weeks.
