PHOTOS: Follow Along During Our Day in Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Complete with PLENTY of Lions and Dinosaurs)!

Helloooo from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We’re ready to trek all the way from Discovery Island to DinoLand, U.S.A. during our visit today.

And, it wouldn’t be a full time in the parks if we didn’t take you with us! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s kick off our day in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

But, first thing’s first — COFFEE. We had to pick up our Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew before exploring the attractions, restaurants, and more in the park!

We started our day out admiring the Tree of Life and all the 325 animal carvings in its trunk as we entered the park. (Sigh, it’s just so pretty.)

We hopped onto Kilimanjaro Safaris to spend some time with the animals lounging about in the area. As our tour guide started driving us around the area, we noticed that the enclosure being built at the attraction has seen a whole lot of progress.

Along with the doors, windows, and roof, there are now construction poles located around the building. We’ll have to wait and see what’s in store, though!

Ostriches were ready to show off to the guests who were excited to see them…

…while a giraffe looked like it was literally smiling at us!

A mom and bébé Zebra were having a midday snack…

…while the crocodiles seem to be having a pool party. We might skip the RSVP for that one, though!

Pumbaa is one of our FAVORITE characters, so it’s no surprise that we were tickled to see the warthogs out and about at the Kilimanjaro Safaris.

The lions were stretched out to take an afternoon catnap in the Florida sunshine (which sounds like quite the way to spend a day).

The cheetahs were following suit with the lions by kicking back and relaxing together…

…and even the rhino wanted to catch a few z’s during our visit.

As we neared Gorilla Falls Trail, we felt like we were playing a game of “Where’s Waldo?” trying to spot the gorilla…

…but if you zoom in all the way in the back, you can see one contemplating life on a rock. What do you think he’s thinking about?

Plus, the anteater basically strutted its stuff while we were in Animal Kingdom!

After that delightful trip on Kilimanjaro Safaris, we made our way over to DINOSAUR. While Disney tends to stray away from a certain other park’s dinosaur franchise, you can still spot a raptor looking pretty ferocious…

…along with a T-Rex head that’s ready to maybe scare a guest or two in time for the Halloween season.

Once we conquered our fears on DINOSAUR, we decided to treat ourselves to yet another game over at the reopened Fossil Fun Games. But, apparently, today’s the day Molly was meant to be victorious!

She won not one, but TWO DINOSAUR PLUSHES!

And, on that awesome note, we’ve had a blast all day long in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! While we keep making our way around the parks, we’ll take you along with us during our adventures!

Take a look at the ADORABLE Lion King Reusable Straws we found in the parks today!
