We’ve been circling the construction zone for Gideon’s Bakehouse like a group of sharks. We note every little update and change about the store as they prepare to open. Why? Because cookies! And cakes! And other delicious curiosities Gideon’s will soon offer Disney guests! The bakehouse just gave us another morsel of information about our soon-to-be-favorite spot in Springs!

Gideon’s has a very distinct sense of style. Their Instagram photos usually capture the essence of an old and mysterious bakery from year’s past. It’s a cozy combination of dark woods, steampunk accessories, and rich chocolate goodies. The bakery is celebrating its anniversary today and gave everyone a first look at what’s to come at the new store opening in Disney Springs!

In the caption, they noted that the photo “is a little taste of the atmosphere that awaits our new location. Our very own @cassandramelena has beautifully sculpted our Cookies for display, and we can’t wait to start bringing the space to life. They’ll be plenty of detail to absorb once you are granted entry. ” Gideon’s will also be celebrating their anniversary by offering limited-time goodies throughout the month of October at their current locations. An opening date for the Disney Springs location hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted!
