Disneyland Resort has been closed since March with no official reopening date.

As Disneyland’s closure continues to extend, available hotel reservations also continue to be pushed back. On our last update, Disneyland was accepting reservations beginning October 1st. Now, hotel reservations dates have been pushed back once again!
Disneyland is now accepting reservations beginning on October 16th, 2020. When you visit Disneyland’s website, you’ll notice that the first available date to book a hotel is the second week of October. Instead of making all resorts unavailable indefinitely, Disney continues to push back available reservations around two weeks at a time.

We’ve seen a few signs of life at Disneyland on our recent visits to Downtown Disney. A new sign was placed on the property, stating that guests must have a theme park reservation in order to enter the theme park. State officials have been talking about reopening procedures as well. These signs (and the new hotel availability date) do not indicate that Disneyland will reopen in October. Disney will most likely continue to push back hotel availability until an official date is announced. We’ll continue to monitor Disneyland for more updates!
