Disney has announced an entire array of holiday favorites that will be returning to the park, along with some that will not. However, fans of EPCOT’s festivals will be thrilled to learn that one event in particular will be returning!

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will be BACK this year at the park! Disney has announced that the annual festival will be starting a little later this year, on November 27th.

Festival of the Holidays

While Disney hasn’t released too many details just yet, they have confirmed they’ll be celebrating the festival this year with returning favorites such as the American Holiday Table and Bavaria Holiday Kitchen. In their announcement, they confirmed they will be “celebrat[ing] highlights from the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays”, so it’s possible the event will be similar to the current Taste of Food and Wine that features highlights from past festivals.

Norway’s Storyteller

Along with the announcement that Festival of the Holidays will be happening, it has been confirmed that the annual Candlelight Processional will not be returning this year for the holidays.

  1. Was so looking forward to the Candlelight Procession and the reading of the Christmas story. We look forward to coming down every year to see it. How sad 😥 😞 😢

    1. Me too. This is one of the highlights of my trips. Especially if I see the one with Gary Sinises. Do hope they try to have that somewhere if not in a tape format.
