Recently, Disney updated their park hours, which reflected a change made to each of the four theme parks. Beginning September 8th, all of the Disney World theme parks will have shorter daily operating hours.

Now, Disney has added more park hours to their calendar, so Guests with upcoming visits can now plan their days through November 7,th 2020.
As confirmed by Disney’s monthly calendar on their website, each of the four parks will continue to have their daily shortened hours through November 7th. Magic Kingdom’s hours will continue to be 9AM to 6PM, EPCOT will be 11AM to PM, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be 10AM to 7PM, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be 9AM to 5PM.

Now that we are starting to see park hours in the month of November, we may start to anticipate getting word on the status of various holiday happenings, like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as well as EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays and Candlelight Processional.

There is no word yet on whether Disney will host these celebrations. However, with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party cancelled for 2020, things may not look so good for the Christmas Party this year. Only time will tell what Disney World’s exact plans are!

My family and I are going November 20th thru November 25th. After watching Molly’s videos and seeing how dead the parks are, we decided to go now instead of waiting until next year.
We hopefully will be there November 14th to the 21st to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Was originally signed up for the backstage tours of all 4 parks and then with COVID cancelled. Hoping they will bring back so we can enjoy!
Going the week of Thanksgiving. Kinda of nervous about crowds but from what I’ve been told, no one is traveling so hopefully the lines won’t be too long. Then, we go back in February, kid free, because our annual passes were extended till mid February and we had extra points to use from our DVC membership!
We are going November 10-18. I really wanted to see Pandora and Toy Story Lands at night! Keeping my fingers crossed that they extend the hours at least to 7pm!
We will be in Disney World the week of Thanksgiving. I’m hoping for some nighttime hours because of the Christmas lights. And I would love to get to go to the MVMCP if they have it.
We hopefully will keep our reservations for 11/8-11/22. Would like to see more hours for November so I can get to planning out our trip.
We’ve had a Dec 1st through 14th first WDW trip planned for about 18 months. I’m really bummed about the shortened hours and lack of entertainment. I wish we could cancel and get our airfare back as this is likely the only time we’ll ever go to the Florida parks.
We will be there over Thanksgiving for eight days. We’re hoping that they do some type of Christmas event.
Hoping to go Dec 14-20 but wondering what the hours will be like and if there will be the Christmas parties.
Would almost bet the Christmas parties will be cancelled. I doubt Disney will be able to bring in enough people to justify the costs.
I’m actually curious as to if Disney will do a lot of decorating this year. Halloween decorations would be going up now as their Halloween parties have been starting in late August in recent years.
Have reservations from dec 11 trough dec 25
