PHOTOS! New Contactless Security Screening Spotted Today in Disney's Hollywood Studios

As Disney World continues its phased reopening, the parks are implementing more ways for guests to have a convenient, contactless experience.

One method that Disney has implemented is the use of new security screening devices, which allow guests to pass without having to remove any items from their bags.

These new screening devices have previously been spotted in Disney Springs, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. Today we saw them being used in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Guests were seen entering security through metal detectors. If one of the detectors goes off, you may be asked to open your bag for security to look through, or they may be waved down with a metal wand.

It seems as though Disney is continuing to test this new security screening out throughout the parks to see what system will work best for Cast Members and gests! But in a world where minimizing contact is ideal, this new screening has been much more of a breeze than the bag search methods in the past!
