NEWS! Temperature Screening Now Required for Table Service Restaurants at Disney World Hotels

When the Disney World Resort hotels first reopened to Guests on June 22nd, we found that temperature screenings were not happening upon entering. This was a practice we had seen at other resorts, including Universal Orlando.

Today, Disney World changed their policy on temperature screenings, and temperatures will be checked upon entering a resort’s table service restaurant.

Disney’s website now reflects the updated temperature screening policy, with added verbiage regarding “table-service restaurants at Disney World Resort hotels.”

This new policy is reflected on Disney’s website, which states, “Guests dining in table-service restaurants at Disney Resort hotels will undergo a temperature screening prior to entering the location.”

Currently, the only Guests allowed to enter a Disney World Resort hotel are those with overnight stays or those with confirmed dining reservations at one of the hotel’s table service restaurants. We will continue to keep you updated with any further modifications to Disney World’s policies.
