Disney World Annual Passholders are starting to receive emails detailing all of the information we have shared with you so far today. These emails include information on the new Disney Parks Pass reservation system, the Annual Passholder previews on July 9th and 10th, as well as Passholder options moving forward to help folks manage their passes.

But there was one extra tidbit of information we spotted in these emails that is sure to delight many Annual Passholders!
In the email sent to Passholders, Disney states, “To thank you for your loyalty, we want to give you a sprinkle of pixie dust by mailing you an exclusive magnet later this summer (one per household).”

These complimentary magnets are a fan favorite amongst Annual Passholders! Free limited edition magnets are often seen during special events and festivals throughout the year and are a fun, complimentary collectible.

Disney has made additional efforts over the past couple of weeks to express their gratitude to Annual Passholders during this unprecedented time, through emails and now this fun surprise AP magnet! If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, keep your eye on your mailbox later this summer!

Any word on the AP magnet? We had plans to go to the Flower and Garden Festival in May and as you all know the parks were closed. We have rescheduled for November. I was just chatting with Disney online about updating my payment method for my monthly payment and asked about the magnet. The cast memeber didn’t know and told me I need to call them back on Monday when that department reopens. I never received an e-mail that APs were receiving a magnet, I just saw it on this and other Disney fan sites.
Of course they get something for being a Disney World AP, however out here in California Disneyland APs get nothing….except emails 🙁
No emails for us either and to boot we weren’t given an option on extending our pass expiry. Why is that important? Because my wife’s pass now expires in a few months before our next planned visit, meaning we can’t reserve any park days and Disney have everybody wound up like a spring over grabbing those. If they had left alone or given us the option of a partial refund (that I understood was actually on offer) we could have renewed the pass when it was originally due to expire earlier this month and reserved park days. Incredibly thoughtless and on telephoning I received a flat refusal to a request for help. We’ve cancelled our November trip now and that’s not an easy thing with a trip from the UK and they can do without our money. I’m sure nobody but us will care, but we can’t be the only ones caught out by this surely?
APs are getting emails? I haven’t receive anything from Disney – either as an AP or as someone with reservations. Highly disappointing. 🙁
On My Disney Experience my platinum annual pass has been extended from its original expiration date December 8, 2020 to April 4, 2021–the period of time the parks were closed. Now, will it also be extended an additional month?
Hi John! Yes — according to Disney, they will add an additional month that will be reflected in October.
