When I go to Disney World, I want to experience fun drinks just as much as the next person, but since I don’t drink alcohol, that’s made much harder.

Thankfully, Disney has really started upping their mocktail game around the parks, which I really do appreciate, and I’ve had a lot of fun trying out the different options available around Disney’s hotels, Disney Springs, and, of course, the parks, but I have to be honest — there’s one Disney World park that lets me down EVERY TIME when it comes to mocktail availability.
While none of the Disney World parks stand out to me as being absolutely fantastic for mocktails, the one you’d expect to be the most well versed in them is EPCOT.

EPCOT is known for giving guests the ability to drink around the world at all the different pavilions, which can be loads of fun for those spending the whole day there and who are also choosing to eat around the world as well. I’ve always wanted to do a mocktail version of it, and maybe someday I’ll finally get to.

For now though, EPCOT, I’m sorry, but you’ve let me down on the mocktail game FAR too many times. Most recently, I was excited to head to the China Pavilion to try a new mocktail on the menu. When I got there and inquired, it turns out the mocktail had only been available for ONE WEEK. Then it was gone with no other similar option to replace it.

Since I’m not local, I was bummed I had missed out on it by just a few days, and then as I got looking more and more around EPCOT, I noticed that in the park where you’d expect there to be a non-alcohol option in nearly every pavilion to cater to the designated drivers with their friends who are drinking around the world, there’s nearly none.

With the exception of table service restaurants, which often aren’t what I’m looking to do when I’m in the park, it’s hard to find mocktails around EPCOT that aren’t just flavored lemonades, and even then, I still struggle! I have hope that more mocktails will make their way into the parks sooner rather than later, and I’ll be the first one to rejoice when it happens!
