NBA Teams May Book Additional Rooms for Their Guests at Disney World

As Disney fans around the world have their sights set on Disney World reopening in mid-July, another group of fans have their eyes set on the Most Magical Place on Earth for an entirely different reason. It is all but certain that Disney World will host the NBA for the remainder of their 2019-2020 season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

While the team players and staff will be isolated in Disney World Resort hotels for the duration of the season, we just learned that the teams may be able to book additional rooms for guests.

NBA Analyst Kevin O’Connor tweeted an update on what room availability may look like for guests of NBA players at Disney World. It is not mentioned specifically which resorts the guests will be staying at, but it will most likely be the same resorts that the teams are staying in.

The required quarantine for guests of NBA players comes after a report last week indicating that reporters who choose to cover the games must also quarantine for the duration of the season.
