You Should Try These Four Iconic Treats at the Magic Kingdom

When we wish upon a star, sometimes we’re wishing for more food! We look forward to chowing down on the food at Walt Disney World almost as much as we do hopping on Space Mountain.

Cinderella Castle

The Magic Kingdom is one of the most iconic theme parks in the world and it’s got some iconic snacks to fuel the fun. If you make your way to the Most Magical Place on Earth, these are the snacks you should try to make it really feel like a Disney day.

Mickey Pretzel — Lunching Pad

It seems like such a simple change to shape a pretzel like Mickey’s head, but it makes a big difference, you know, psychologically. When you start seeing Mickey’s face everywhere, you know you’re finally on a Disney vacation.

Mickey Pretzel

You can find Mickey Pretzels throughout Magic Kingdom with a side of cheese sauce, the perfect dip for these doughy babies. At the Lunching Pad, not only can you find the Mickey Pretzels, but you can often also find the Cream Cheese Pretzel that’s filled with sweet cream cheese or the Jalapeno Cheese-stuffed Pretzel. You can grab a Mickey Pretzel for $6.79 at the Lunching Pad or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.

Mickey Ice Cream Bar — Ice Cream Carts

Speaking of Mickey-shaped snacks, the Mickey Ice Cream Bar is such an icon that Disney is even slapping it on cardholders now. This ice cream bar is just vanilla ice cream on a stick dipped in chocolate (magical chocolate, we’re pretty sure), but it’s in the shape of our best pal Mickey, and we adore it.

This sweet snack is available at most ice cream carts around the Magic Kingdom, so you easily find one no matter if you’re in the wild west or the age of tomorrow. You can pick one up for yourself for $5.69 or a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit.

Dole Whip — Aloha Isle

This classic sweet treat is great because of all of the variations you can make with it. Want the regular soft-serve? How about a float? What about on an upside down cake?

Dole Whip

For us, the classic (dairy free!) soft-serve hits the right spot. It’s sweet, it’s refreshing on those hot Florida days, and it’s easy to carry: the trifecta of great sweet snacks. You can get the regular soft-serve for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Aloha Isle also offers Mobile Ordering, so you can say aloha to this snack even faster!

Jumbo Turkey Leg — Turkey Leg Cart

The turkey leg is perhaps one of the simplest ways to fill up at the Magic Kingdom. This heaping helping of protein lives up to the jumbo in its name, so you may want to share this one (and not just because it’s over 1000 calories all on its own).

Frontierland Turkey Leg Cart

It’s juicy and full of flavor. Did we mention how big it is already? For $11.75 at the Turkey Leg Cart, this bad boy is worth it for the portion size alone.
