Sure, we know that a Hocus Pocus sequel and a new series hosted by Jessica Alba will both be coming to Disney+, but no one makes a show quite like Gaston!

Get ready for some more daring “heroics” because a Beauty and the Beast prequel series is coming to the streaming service!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Luke Evans and Josh Gad will be reprising their roles as Gaston and Le Fou respectively from the 2017 Beauty and the Beast live-action remake. Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the creators of Once Upon a Time, will executive produce and act as scriptwriters and showrunners alongside Gad.

The untitled show will run for six episodes and (wait for it!) Alan Menken, who composed the original movie and the remake, is in talks to score the new series. At this time, it’s unknown if any of the other stars from the movie will return, like Emma Watson or Dan Stevens, but we are very excited to catch up again with LeFou and Gaston!
