Did somebody say gingerbread?? Lots and lots of gingerbread?

Although Halloween is tomorrow, Walt Disney World has already been getting itself holiday-ready around the parks and resorts. And now Disney’s Contemporary Resort is getting into the spirit!

The perennially beloved Gingerbread Castle is making its delicious return to the Resort!

Cinderella Castle is placed front and center with its brown, blue, and peppermint-studded color scheme.

At the back of the castle, the sculpted white outline complete with soft lights and a blue clock is a salute to Mary Blair, who was the Disney Imagineer and artist behind “it’s a small world” and the resort’s concourse mural.

As the Gingerbread Castle display continues to be set up, guests can expect to see Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Fairy Godmother as they appeared in 2018…

…as they’re rockin’ around the Christmas tree(s) this year!

And one of our favorite Gingerbread Snack Stands will be mixing up treats like peppermint bark, gingerbread cookies, frozen hot chocolate, and more as part of the holiday fun!

You can take a peek at the Gingerbread Castle’s construction on the 4th floor of the Contemporary near the shops on the Grand Canyon Concourse (or maybe the sweet aroma will lead you there!).
