With the winter holidays at Disney’s Animal Kingdom just around the corner, Disney has given fans a closer look at the puppets and entertainment coming to the park this year!
In addition to the previously announced new holiday entertainment and decor, Disney has released details about wintery puppets and theming coming to Discovery Island. Guests entering the land will be fully immersed in a village complete with a “Merry Menagerie of winter animals, accompanied by serenading musicians as they create a playful atmosphere of festive fun.”
The team at Disney Parks Live Entertainment has brought to life a collection of reindeer, foxes, polar bears, penguins, and more in the form of life-size, artisan-sculpted puppets. All done with the magic of Disney and theatrical techniques, these puppets and their performers are expected to interact directly with guests.
