May 9th – our final full day on the ship. Where DID the time go?! A fair number of us had gotten on board back in LA on April 26 and here we are 13 nights, 6 ports of call and one glacial fjord later.
There were many things I thought about doing, but decided to just take it easy, get packed and enjoy our AllEars Alaskan Farewell Party.
The AllEars Alaskan cruisers were a great group of folks and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone. It was fun at night talking to everyone about the explorations of Alaska that day and what was planned for the next day. We all did very different things – from fishing and crabbing, to ziplines and snow shoe’ing, to panning for gold to having a great time on board the Disney Wonder – and everything in between!
Everyone had a wonderful time.
For the Farewell Party, hosted by MouseFanTravel, we had did drawings for the Hidden Mickey Quests, giveaways and then had a surprise visit from Captain Hook! The real bonus was having our group photo taken with him.
AllEars Alaskan Cruisers had the opportunity to enjoy a Hidden Mickey at Sea Hunt! Those who turned in their “reports” were entered into a drawing for Disney Gift Cards. Thank you Steve Barrett for the Hidden Mickey Books and the gift cards!

Next were special items everyone was able to qualify for including Disney Wonder Alaska items, Club 33 items and even a Totem Poll from the Disney Cruise Line press event announcing the Alaska sailings!
And then our surprise guest arrived……..
