I had family visiting and I thought my 7 year old niece would love it. I was at a different Rainforest Cafe 25 years ago, nothing has changed. She did enjoy the animation, but it was nothing spectacular. We arrived about 2:00, the place was about 35-40% full but they told us there was a 15 minute wait. I think they just want you to walk around the gift shop. When they finally did seat us, we were not near where we could clearly see the animation. Took 15 minutes for the server to come and I had asked about the fried fish plate, whether it was a wet batter or bread crumb batter. She looked at me as though I was speaking some foreign language. I asked her to ask the kitchen, but she asked again what the choices were and then said a wet batter, it was not. Not only that, the shrimp were small and cut almost in half, so when fried with the bread crumbs, they were as dry as you could get. The fries underneath were luke warm. Another adult got the awesome appetizer, food was not good at all and also luke warm. She asked for some ranch dressing when they put our food down, we reminded them 15 minutes later and still took 10 minutes to bring it, but by then everything was cold. The child's meal was okay at best.
Looked at all the reviews before going and almost all were negative, so I guess I should have gone else where, but gave it a shot, never again. Pretty expensive for crappy food.
Pros:
Fun for childCons:

I had a horrible experience in this place. I was celebrating my birthday yesterday with friends. We wait a 1 and a half hour for the food - after being sit- and we the food came was the wrong one. Conclusion we had to cancel and leave without eating. Ah I got the cup cake and the happy birthday please right???

Everything. I had to sign up and paid 25$ to get a table in 30 minutes and leave without eating after more than two hours in this place. Horrible.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 07/16/2022

We ate at the Disney Springs location. The server was nice and communicated really well but the rest of the experience was terrible. I ordered a small caesar salad with chicken and there was NO dressing on it! How do you do that?! So I had to ask for dressing. Two of my son's ordered pizza and it looked like something out of the microwave. My other son ordered the shrimp tacos and said how terribly dry they were. My wife ordered a spicy pasta so I tried a bite. I spit it out! The chicken tasted like rubber! I will never return.
Pros:
The server communicated well and the hostess was kind.Cons:

We will not be back. We waited approximately 2 hours while there was so many empty tables, with plenty of waitresses. It took them 1 hour to give us food and about 3 tables got theirs before us. All of our bacon was burnt and the toast was very dry. They were also extremely unprofessional and our waiter “izabella” was one of the only professional nice waiter. I do not recommend do not come here.
Pros:
Izabella the waiter was nice and professional.Cons:
Very messy dry and burnt food and long waitsReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 10/26/2021

I will never go back to this supposedly family friendly restaurant in Disney Springs. My husband left his wallet on the table and we desperately tried to call for 2 straight days and kept being told they did not have the wallet. We finally decided to drive back there and spoke to a manager who took us to a cabinet and lo and behold the wallet was on the bottom shelf missing approx $650. The staff has a total disregard for us. We called the general manager to express our disappointment and he himself could care less. He promised to look at cameras and call us back. Three weeks and no call. This is not a family friendly restaurant. I have been going to Disney and Disney Springs for many years- You can find many other restaurants that have much better customer service.
