If you’ve strolled through any Disney park lately, you’ve probably noticed that Loungefly backpacks are EVERYWHERE.

These mini backpacks, covered in prints featuring everything from The Haunted Mansion to Stitch to your favorite Disney villains, have become one of the most popular park bag choices for Disney World guests. They’re cute, compact, and let you show off your fandom as you walk around the parks all day. But as much as we love a good Loungefly moment, these bags aren’t without their flaws.

Problem #1: No Internal Pockets Means Total Chaos
One of the biggest issues with most Loungefly backpacks is the lack of internal pockets. Sure, the outside of the bag looks perfectly organized with its adorable Disney print, but open it up, and you’ll usually find one big, empty space with no dividers, no zippered pouches, and no way to keep things separated. That means your sunscreen, phone charger, snacks, autograph book, and extra face masks are all just tossed in together. When you actually need something — like when you’re digging for your MagicBand or trying to find a granola bar before your kid has a meltdown in line — you end up rooting around blindly through a jumbled mess. What starts as a neatly packed bag in the morning turns into total chaos by lunchtime, and that’s not exactly what you want when you’re trying to move quickly through a crowded park.

That’s why when we found this Loungefly Organizer on Amazon, we knew we had to test it out! This Mini Backpack Organizer is the best way to keep your Loungefly organized for daily use. It comes with several pockets and even a zipper pouch to help you organize all your park essentials.

This divider is made of waterproof nylon, which makes it “lightweight & durable” and offers multiple pockets of “different sizes for electronics accessories, bottles, umbrella, cosmetics, travel items, wallets, and purses.”

We had one of our reporters put it to the test to see if it would be helpful, and this is what they said: “I’m a HUGE fan of changing my Loungefly backpack on the fly, and the one thing I dread most is forgetting to move something important over and not realizing it until it’s way too late! Since using this organizer and seeing how simple and easy it is to fit into a mini-backpack, I can use such little force to pull it out and switch it… I wish I had found these sooner!”
Problem #2: They’re Too Small to Safely Hold Your Ears
The second big problem? Loungefly backpacks are notorious for being too small to comfortably hold a pair of Minnie ears without bending them. If you’re someone who needs to take a break from wearing your ears throughout the day — whether it’s because your head needs a rest or you’re about to ride an attraction where they’d fall off — you’ll quickly realize there’s nowhere good to put them. The bags simply aren’t built with that extra depth or structure needed to protect ears with bows, sequins, or other decorative details. Instead of sitting safely inside, your ears end up getting smooshed against your water bottle or folded awkwardly to fit, and there’s a good chance you’ll pull them back out with a bent headband or a squished bow. For something that’s supposed to be a cute souvenir, that’s a pretty frustrating trade-off.

That’s when we found this handy Mouse Ear Holder on Amazon.

The Eybila 2Pcs Mouse Ear Holder for a backpack is perfect for this problem. You get two keychains per order. The colorful bead lanyard keychain is about 9 inches. The ear holder is securely fastened to your bag with a lobster clasp. No more bending or worse, losing your Minnie ears.
While Loungefly backpacks are undeniably cute and a favorite among Disney fans, the lack of internal organization and the limited space for storing your ears are two real drawbacks worth considering before your next trip. But with these two items, that solves your problems! We have a full Amazon Storefront full of every Disney Loungefly on Sale, so be sure to check it out.
