I think Adventureland might be the best land in the Magic Kingdom! The theming is amazing, especially as they seem to be leaning more towards the Society of Explorers and Adventurers backstory (more of this please!). The main attractions here are Pirates of the Caribbean (a nostalgic fan-favourite) and the word famous Jungle Cruise. Dining in the Magic Kingdom isn’t the best compared to the other parks but in Aventureland you’ll find Skipper Canteen, an incredibly well-themed sit-down restaurant with some adventurous and unusual dishes, all served to you by a Jungle Cruise skipper! Honorable mention to the Tiki Room, featuring some of the world’s first audio-animatronics!

Pros:

Great theming, great family rides, great food!

Cons:

No thrilling rides here

After walking down main street, I always start my Magic Kingdom day in Adventureland. The imagineers did a great job with the themeing of this land. You truly feel like you are off on an adventure in the jungle. I love the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and the Jungle Cruise! If you are an adventurous eater, Jungle Skipper Canteen will be right up your ally. And of course we can't forget the AMAZING dole whip at Aloha Isle. They have raspberry and coconut in addition to the traditional pineapple!

Pros:

Dole Whip, Pirates of the Caribbean

Cons:

Needs a quick service restaurant besides the spring roll cart/Aloha Isle!

Adventureland is not my favorite land in magic kingdom. However, it is very well themed. The dole whip is the highlight for me in this land. There aren’t too many thrill rides, so you probably won’t need that much time here to explore if you are a thrill seeker.

Pros:

Food Jungle cruise

Cons:

Not too many rides

I love the theming for Adventureland and the snacks available. There is the amazing dole whip and the spring rolls. It also has a couple of the most iconic Disney rides however I am not much of a pirates of the caribbean fan so there is a lack of rides for me. I think they should bring in a more thrilling ride, and possibly an attraction that is moana themed as well. Another thing I have noticed is during crowded hot days it is not the best place to sit or hang out in the parks. There isn’t much seating indoors or outdoors and the walkways are pretty tight. Other than those things I love Adventureland and would definitely recommend 🙂

Pros:

Theming Snacks Iconic rides

Cons:

Needs more moana theming No thrill rides Not great on crowded hot days

The theming in Adventureland is classic Disney. It's what we've all grown to love about Disney Parks with it's smells, sounds, textures, and decorations. Where else can you see a real life pirate in the street and then go grab a tasty Dole Whip? Plus it's got some of the best rides! Wish it had a better quick service option so I give it a 10!

Pros:

Theming, one of the most iconic Disney snacks is located here, some of the best rides and attractions!

Cons:

Crowded, could have better food options

While I've never been a huge fan of the Enchanted Tiki Room, this is one of my favorite lands. Come for the Dole Whip, stay for the terrible Jungle Cruise puns.

Pros:

It's classic. It's ridiculous. It's less crowded than Fantasyland.

Cons:

Not a lot of great plant-based meal options

I love the theming of this land! The music is fun and it has Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise. But it has maybe one good store and I'm not a fan of Dole Whips ? I know I'm definitely in the minority on that!

Pros:

Music, theme, two iconic rides.

Cons:

Not much else going on in this land.

One of my favorite lands! It amazes me every time as I walk over the bridge and the music changes. It transports me to another place and time! Jungle Cruise may seem outdated but it’s a classic! I’m always happy to see the backside of water!

Pros:

Fully immersive

Cons:

Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean can sometimes have long lines.

Adventureland is my absolute FAV land in the Magic Kingdom. 2 classic attractions in Pirates and the Jungle Cruise - The Tiki Room for those nostalgic Disney fans - and the home of Swiss Family Robinson along with Aladdin's Magic Carpets - this land is great for all ages - and when you're ready for a break, you can find some great snacks like the Spring Rolls, pot stickers or a dolewhip!

Pros:

Fun for All Ages Most attraction lines are covered (cooler in hot weather)

Cons:

Potentially get spit on by a donkey
